The King’s School Linbro Park was founded in 1986 by Love Reaching Communities Church (then known as Waverley New Covenant). The church’s vision was to provide an opportunity for children of all races to receive an education in a Christ-centred environment.
The King’s School began as a preschool of 12 learners and it has grown into the flourishing school it is today, catering for parents with children from 3 months of age, right up until they graduate from Grade 12.
From the Baby & Toddler Centre to the High School we maintain a holistic approach toward the development of our learners. We deliver an excellent academic programme, as well as extra mural programmes that cover a variety of sporting and cultural activities.
We believe in rewarding our students for showing growth in their character and acknowledge them through different programmes on class, grade and school levels. One of these recognitions is called the Daniel Award (based on Daniel’s example of good character in the Bible).
We are a member of Independent Schools Association of Southern Africa (ISASA), the oldest and largest independent (private) school association in the country.
